Approved Board Nominees
The nominating Committee reviewed applications under our election guidelines, as explained in the October statement insert. The following members submitted applications and were approved as nominees for the available positions on the Board of Directors.
Sabra Morlan
Sabra was born in San Antonio, Texas, and has lived in Corpus Christi since 1979. She retired from AT&T after 30 years of employment. She has been married to her husband, Don, since 1987, and they have three children, seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Sabra joined the credit union in 1981 and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2018, including a term as chairman.
Samuel Shores
Samuel is a lifelong resident of Corpus Christi. He retired from Southwestern Bell after 43 years of service. He has been married to his wife, Carolyn, for over 48 years, and they have two children and two grandchildren. Sam has been a member of Members First Credit Union since 1974 and has served on the Board of Directors since 2015, including a term as chairman.
