Below are the different types of business, church, or organization accounts that we open and the items you will need to bring with you when opening one of these accounts.
Sole Proprietorship
To open a Sole Proprietorship Business Account, you will need your DBA papers (Doing Business As), a valid state or government issued ID, proof of SSN, and a second form of ID (No credit cards accepted for ID) for anyone authorized to sign on the account. All parties must be present to sign.
Partnership
To open a Partnership business account, you will need an EIN (tax ID) or SS#, DBA (Doing Business As) papers, a valid state or government issued ID, and a second form of ID (No credit cards accepted for ID) for anyone authorized to sign on the account. All parties must be present to sign.
Corporations
To open a Corporation Business Account, you will need Articles of Incorporation, Articles of Organization or other similar document of organization, an EIN # (tax ID), in some cases you will need DBA (Doing Business As) papers, a valid state or government issued ID, and a second form of ID (No credit cards accepted for ID) for anyone authorized to sign on the account. All parties must be present to sign.
LLC
To open an LLC Business Account, you will need the Certificate of Formation, Operating Agreement or similar organizational document, an EIN # (Tax ID), a valid state or government issued ID, and a second form of ID (No credit cards accepted for ID) for anyone authorized to sign on the account. All parties must be present to sign.
Church/Organization Accounts
When you open an account for a church or organization, you will need to have a charter, Articles of Organization, or a similar legal document showing when your company was formed and the officers of your organization along with signed minutes from the last election of officers, a valid state or government issued ID, proof of SSN, and a second form of ID (No credit cards accepted for ID) for anyone authorized to sign on the account. All parties must be present to sign.
